Booking and cancellation terms

Who we are and scope

These general terms govern bookings of passenger transport in a car with a driver (VTC) provided by Manvir Singh Purewal (tax ID 53315208N, Carrer de la Dàlia, 2-4, 08860 Castelldefels (Barcelona); info@vemarotransfers.com · +34602881011) through this website. You accept them before paying, and the version in force on the booking date applies.

The service

Point-to-point transfers (with optional return) and hourly hire, picking up in one of the 36 municipalities of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area with destination in Spain or Andorra; the return ends in the Metropolitan Area.

You book a vehicle category (Business, Premium or VIP Van, or those shown), not a specific model or plate: we assign the vehicle and driver before the service and email you the details.

How to book

1) Enter the journey, date and passengers and see the price of each category. 2) Choose the category. 3) Fill in the passenger details and, if you wish, the invoice details: you don't need an account (if you have one, you can sign in). 4) Review the summary, accept these terms and pay. Until you pay you can go back and correct any detail.

The contract is concluded in Spanish or English. After payment you receive an email confirmation with the booking summary and its invoice. You can see it in «Manage my booking» with the reference and your email (we send you an access code) and, if you have an account, there too.

Online bookings require at least 4 hours' notice. If you need a service at shorter notice, call us on +34602881011 and we will try to help.

Price and payment

The price is shown before you pay and is fixed: it includes the VAT applicable to passenger transport and tolls. For hourly hire it includes the kilometres stated when booking.

You pay 100% when booking, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, through Stripe (secure payment; we do not store your card details). The booking is only confirmed once the payment is completed. We issue a simplified invoice or, if you give us your name, tax ID and address, a full invoice.

Right of withdrawal

Passenger transport contracts are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Spanish consumer protection law). Instead, we offer the free cancellation explained below.

If you cancel

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the pick-up time yourself, from «Manage my booking» (or from your account). Before confirming you'll see the amount we refund, which is the full amount, and the refund starts at that moment to the same payment method (your bank may take a few days to show it). You'll receive the confirmation and the corrective invoice by email.

With less notice, cancellation cannot be done on the website: contact us. Currently, if you tell us before the pick-up time, we also refund the full amount; if we change this policy, it will only apply to bookings made after the change.

If you do not show up at the pick-up point, the service is considered provided and is non-refundable.

If we cancel

If for any reason we cannot provide the service, we will offer you a higher-category vehicle at no extra cost or, if you prefer or it is not possible, refund the full amount.

Changes

You can change the notes for the chauffeur and the flight number yourself in «Manage my booking» until the pick-up time. To change the time, addresses or passengers, send us a request with the change-request form quoting the reference; we will confirm by email whether it is possible. Changes that alter the price are handled as a new booking, cancelling the previous one under the cancellation terms.

Punctuality, flights and waiting

Please be at the pick-up point at the booked time. If you give us your flight number, the driver will take the actual arrival time into account.

Included waiting time: [pending]. If after that time you do not appear and we cannot reach you, the service may be treated as a no-show.

Passengers, luggage and conduct

Each category allows a maximum number of passengers and suitcases, shown when booking; for safety we cannot exceed it. If you travel with children who need a child seat or with pets, tell us beforehand in the notes or through the tailored-service form.

Seat belts are mandatory and smoking is not allowed. The driver may refuse to provide or continue the service in case of behaviour that endangers safety or other people.

Liability and insurance

Vehicles carry the compulsory passenger insurance and civil liability insurance required by transport regulations. We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to causes beyond our control (force majeure, road closures, weather or actions by the authorities), in which case we will refund what has not been provided.

Check the vehicle before getting out. If you leave something behind, write to us and we will do our best to return it.

Complaints

Write to info@vemarotransfers.com quoting your booking reference; we will reply as soon as possible and, in any case, within the period set by consumer law. You can contact us in Spanish, Catalan or English.

Official complaint forms are available: ask us by email or ask the driver. You can also contact the Catalan Consumer Agency (Agència Catalana del Consum) or your local consumer information office. Membership of an alternative dispute resolution scheme (Consumer Arbitration Board): [pending].

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Spanish law and consumer protection rules. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction.
